Tulsa’s Future is one of nine Oklahoma entities certified as a Center for Workforce Excellence by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Centers for Workforce Excellence are certified, localized collaborations that meet and exceed superior workforce development standards under the department’s Oklahoma Works Together program, a statewide strategic economic development framework. Certified organizations provide a point of contact within each identified region and serve existing and prospective employers’ workforce needs by coordinating resources and services. The Manufacturing Center of Workforce Excellence works to align resources and support the regional manufacturing industry’s workforce development needs.
